On June 14 (Flag Day), 2000, the USPS issued a series of twenty stamps depicting the Stars and Stripes through the ages. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with four different flags from the series cancelled from the city of issue (Baltimore, Md.) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color watercolor cachet (artwork on the envelope) features the Liberty Bell superimposed over the Flag. This is one of several collectible, historic pieces of Patrotic Americana offered by Wall Art Collectbles.
Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
