Heroes of 2001....
On June 7, 2002, the USPS issued a stamp to honor the Heroes of 2001.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from one of the three cities of issue (in this case New York City) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features four New York City Firehouses.  We were able to identify  Engine 279  and Engine 280 Ladder 132, both on the right side of the envelope; perhaps, you can recognize the other two.  The pictures encompass the entire envelope - with the words, "FDNY The Bravest of the Brave!"

Double matted in blue and white, it's sized to fir a standard 8x10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
