On September 12, 1966, the USPS issued a stamp to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the General Federation of Women's Clubs  founded by Jennie June Croly. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (New York, NY) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The black & white cachet (artwork on the envelope) depicts a portrait of Croly, the organization's headquarters in Washington DC,its logo, and the words, "Promotion of Common Interest in Education, Philanthropy, Public Welfare, Moral Values, Civics and Fine Arts."

Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
