On April 28, 1994, the USPS issued a set of stamps commemorating five different Garden Flowers. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp celebrating the Lily cancelled from the city of issue (Cincinnati, Ohio) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a trio of Lilies in three different colors. It's printed on silk, the luster lending an almost three dimensional quality to the picture.
