On August 29, 1991, the USPS issued a stamp to honor the man who will remain "39" forever, Jack Benny. This stamp was one of five to honor Comedians.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp, designed by Al Hirschfeld, cancelled from the city of issue (Hollywood, Ca.) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features the star of radio and television, Mr. Benny, in his famous, "Well...." stance.  Collectible, historic, this cover is a piece of television, radio, and postal memorabilia.

Double matted in blue & white, this piece will fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included plus a short bio of Benny***
