The USPS honored  Sinclair Lewis with a stamp in 1985.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Sauk Centre, Mn.- his hometown that was used as a pattern for his novel, Main Street) on the first day of issue (March 21, 1985.)

The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a  full-color portrait of Lewis.  Historic, collectible, it's matted in  blue & white and will fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included plus a short Commentary on Lewis***
