Shown here is a genuine Commemorative Postal Cover celebrating the Antique Dealer with artwork by Norman Rockwell, an Antiques Collector himself, and the Pennsylvania Toleware Stamp issued in 1979. This cover has a postmark of Lancaster, PA and the date of April 19, 1985. This place and date were used to coincide with the city of issue and the first day of issue of the Toleware stamp. The company that produced this cover also included a commentary about the 1934 Saturday Evening Post cover that featured the same artwork that is shown on this commemorative cover. As a point of interest, the large coffee urn by the dealer's feet belonged to Rockwell; it stood in his studio filled with very expensive brushes!
Matted in green, this piece will fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.
